It’s Friday! This week as been out of control! I woke up this morning thinking it was Saturday. That’s hard to swallow when the alarm goes off at 6:00am. Jeanine came over and we worked in the workshop for a bit. She helps with the books, because I hate that stuff!! I organized and filled orders and got ready for the Beholden Event for the launch of the latest Good Grit magazine.

When Connor is out of town I have to make decisions like how to get the kids to places and now that Emma has a driver’s license, whether she can drive where she’s going. She announced that she was driving to the lake and I had to shut it down! She’s only been driving a week and a half! Not ready for an hour on the interstate. Ugh. She wasn’t happy and her weekend was ruined….except it wasn’t. She still got to go and ride with Daphney, the responsible adult. Everyone laughs. ?

the event was a fund raiser for Beds 4 Kids. Laura Glass is raising awareness for kids that don’t have beds in cities across the south. I was excited for a new audience to see my jewelry and get to hang out with some of my favorite entrepreneurs.  Botanikō, Digs Design, Great Bear Wax, Shop Bohem and my friends at the magazine all in one place. It was a great event! Natalie, my sister, came by and we got to have our picture made in the photo booth. I think it was a success for all involved.

Tomorrow is Saturday and I’m supposed to be going to Nashville. John Connor’s plans have changed and that may not allow me to make it. We’ll see what the morning holds!!

Have a great weekend!

When Someone Walks into My Workshop
When Someone Walks into My Workshop

It's funny really. They come to the front door and walk into my open concept living area that's full of light and just kind of take in all the architectural accents that are in and about the room. Then I escort them downstairs.
