December 15, 2015 | Holiday Order Filling!

A fun day is when there are orders upon orders to fill from the online shop and our retailers across the south! I am always humbled when I get an order. One of the first things I look at is the state the order is from. It’s really cool when they are from somewhere far away from home, like California! 

We have been in prism necklace making mode and the one of a kinds have been neglected. I’m looking forward to the holidays being over and getting in the workshop just to create. I’m always so inspired when I go to my favorite markets. I love Scott’s because you never know what you’ll find. I have my faithful picker, Joel, that looks for me for a month and has a nice sized box for me to choose from….or take it all! That’s always good, but when I find something unusual, even if I can’t use it in jewelry, I just get an instant of euphoria where I find a new use for that incredible piece. It also doesn’t always go home with me. I just dream of what could be! 

I’m in the end of year mode and that has me planning for 2016. I can’t believe all that has happened this year. It truly blows me away. I was so busy and I hope to sit one day and go back to write it all down before I forget. It’s probably too late. It has been a great year. I don’t foresee it slowing down anytime soon. So, hang on if you’re paying attention. 

I do know it’s all in God’s plan. I got a new Beth Moore book over the weekend from Momba and Papa and reading the first chapter this morning had me remembering that God has a plan for us. He gives us the push and the ability, but we have to actually do what needs to be done to do what he wants from us. I feel like I’m on a good path. I do hope it’s the right one. It feels right.
